Fawn Lake Forest was founded in 1969 by the American Central Corporation who set up rules governing the land (Restrictive Covenants) for a period of 90 years. A Fawn Lake Forest steering committee and subcommittees were organized in Spring 1972 and worked toward the formation of a property owners association. The By-Laws of the association were formulated and at the July 14, 1973 Annual Meeting, the first Board of Directors (13) were elected.
